Sometimes when I'm in the middle of a game it will minimize itself and when you click on it to go full screen again it freezes and you have to xkill it...
I'm running Teeworlds 0.4.3 on Ubuntu intrepid ibex although I have encountered this problem on 8.4 as well

When i'm playing for about 5 minutes, the game crashes, and the only thing I can do is log out. when I log in and start Teeworlds, i don't get the loading screen, but a black screen:P and my whole computer crashes:S the game works fine again when I restart the computer (till the game crashes again)

dunno if it helps mate, but install wine (if you havent all ready got it) and use win version of teeworlds under wine, i found win teeworlds ran better on ubuntu than linux version did.

I think I encountered a bug that(probably) hasn't been mentioned/fixed yet.
Let's assume I auto-download a map from a server. Admin of the server changes the map to a map which I don't have, so I have to download that map as well(from the beginning of course) - i.e. it doesn't finish downloading the first map, but begins to download the second map instead. It normally downloads the map, but when it finishes downloading, it displays an error message saying something like "ERROR: File C:\Documents and Settings blabla not found"(that "blabla" should be the full file path 
). IIRC I have to download the second map again.
I'm running Ubuntu, and Teeworlds 0.4.2-1 I play this game for over a month now, but sertainly, it stoped working. If I click Teeworlds, it does nothing... it just wont start. does anybody know how to fix this problem?

First try to remove your config. Then run the game in a terminal instead of clicking the game-icon in order to see debug-messages.

I have a big problem, when i play teeworlds then after 30 minutes the PC is shut down or goes to the login platform. I think the PC don't know, that I play this game and so it means that I don't do something so he goes to the login-platform or in the standby-modus. I use Ubuntu 8.04 as operating system. Please help, what should I do?

on 0.5 :
- random mouse bug : it is like playing with a crappy mouse, the cursor moves weirdly. I noticed that it is only in game and not in the menus. Also, changing the sensibility doesn't solve it.
- random sound bug : the sound becomes a bit crappy especially while firing grenades, it is a bit noisy. Restarting the game solves it.
1. About Ubuntu's mouse bug:
It also appears in the map editor(quite often) and very very rarely it appears in the menus.
2. Laser bug in 0.5:
If the laser is shot very flat to the ground, it bounces back into your direction, instead of away from you.

3. A strange hook bug in 0.5:
If you hook at a wall, and you release the hook again, sometimes it happens, that your hook is not released immediatly. It is not much time you lose, but the direction you fly then is different. So if you know, how the hook behaves normally, you notice it, and its very annoying.
i think the strength of hook is other in 0.5 anyways...

...its nearly impossible in 0.5. it was quite easy in 0.4.x 
I got some more information about the laser bug:
If you shoot at a wall from the left, or at the bottom, the laser bounces back to you, but if you shoot at a wall from the right or at the ceiling the laser gets stuck there and dissappears(probably it bounces against the wall again and then of course dissappears).

what do you mean?
When having the ninja sword, your hands are still the same color as the tee without ninja skin, and when you spectate, you still can open the emotion-bubbles-menu but pressing Shift.
