Topic: a SETUP for each release

Hi everyone...

I read somewhere here on the forum, that TeeWorlds is oriented to players.... sooo...

1. Why not creating a SETUP for each one? I know a very good, easy-to-use, 7-zip compression and FREE setup compiler.. called INNO SETUP.

2. It can be good to make 2 setup packages, the "bare bone" one, just to play, and the other one "full" package, including good-quallity maps, skins, etc... and a nice program before running teeworlds (i think a program beofre it should be easier than implementing on the game) so you can choose your skins smile

Just an idea smile

btw, for the skins, it should be nice that every player reports it unique crc of the skin their using, so if the client have it, to put their skin in their player

Thanks for everything! I LOVE TEEWORLDS! I have also setup a server (in USA) so we (in tha Americas)can have a good ping.... normally i got above 200 in the others servers sad

Me I prefer copie/paste what the setup file ...

Setup files are useless.
You can just unzip and open the Teeworlds folder and open Teeworlds or teeworlds_srv.

Well.. in fact, neither i do, but as teeworlds is oriented to new users, maybe they like setup... as i (sometimes) do...

i hate when i need to open X folder to get to the game... just an incon to the desktop is fine... im lazy i know!

ive created a setup file for teeworlds win 32 with a demo version of installshield..
installation creates shortcuts and uninstall wink

nope, i was atalking with the inno setup package.. it is free my friend ;-)

also, it has 7-zip compression =P
