One of the absolutes in teewars is that you must be nearby a tee to be able to kill it, thus landmines and the like are out of the question. This has already been said in this thread by matricks I believe.

I don´t now if someone already said this and i don't wanna go through all the posts to find out so, it would be cool with a gun that drains armor per shot and it should be rechargeable for more damage.

And also a gun/hammer that smashes away the opponent and cause a small amount of damage, maybe with some some sort of ammo, like the gravity hammer in Halo or something.

I'm sure people have said it before, but I don't want any new weapons in Teewars. The laser maybe, but nothing else.
I like the simpleness of having only 4 (soon to be 5) weapons.

Or maybe they (in the future) want to add more weapons, but only make some of them availible on each map? like in counter-strike, but you are not able to choose tongue sort of.

How about a Lasergun?It has infinite ammo but you must chare it longtime and the shot kill immediately when hit.

I suggest a bomb !

The tee who will use it will be like a bobomb (in mario), he will obligatory die.
We can imagine the tee with a bomb and when he use it, others players will have 2-3 seconds to run !

How about a sniper?  It will make the person have longer sight (instead of being restricted at close range) but the reload will be slow and maybe less bullets.

That's not a half-bad idea. Easy to implement, easy to segregate standard and exotic weapons by map.

I think that if the developers were going to put in extra weapons, including some rather different ones, they would make it clear that there are a set of standard maps using the standard weapons for use in tournament-style play. However, then it becomes up to the players to decide what map and weapon types should define "tournament-style play". I fear that in the developers' eyes this would fall under the category of other nasty stuff that could ruin the game, which would be detrimental. I don't think that anyone could say that instagib ruined UT GOTY or that DOTA ruined warcraft III (well only a little bit wink).

Players like customisation, and they like lots of different and cool weapons, whether or not it's really a good idea for the gameplay that exists at the moment. You only need to look at the people who are struggling with the current-era map editor to produce custom content to realise that people will try hard to do cool things.

It's a balancing act. On one hand you want to maintain the distinctive gameplay that makes Teewars so cool, and on the other hand you want to avoid people making mods (or dare I say, forks?) because they'd like to put in some wacky weapons.

I think that doing it map-by-map is a good compromise.

with dynamic camera u HAVE a longer sight.... the sniper has been discused.
and i think it wouldnt fit into teewars /strupps oppinion

So you walk into a cabin, and now the minigun starts following cursor and you weapon becomes invisible. But if you move your cursor out of minigun view - the gun appears and you can shoot with you own weapon.

The ability to shoot with your own weapon while in such a tower might not be soo good.
Such a tower is very strong and it might be better if you cannot fire to your back it you are in there. This would balance the thing much (if it will be implemented anytime)

If this "tower" will be added, so The Crosshair should be slowed down,
In this way u cant Spam an whole area. Also the Bullets shouldnt be fly so long.

I actually really like the tower idea, it would be very useful for like defense on capture the flag. but if it's designed like he drew it, you should be able to take normal damage from behind. either that or it should be a fully enclosed tower. hope you don't mind me stealing your picture to make it a fully enclosed one.

I love all those ideas. I have some nice ones that if not possible to implement, I will just live with:

1. Could it be possible for others to view custom skins without owning them?

2. Maybe a charge up feature on guns? Deals more damage and fires a glowing shot or something, but you can't move whilst charging and henceforth must fire where you are.

3. I love the grenade ideas, but could there be something like a mine? Maybe limited, or slow respawn, like the sword. Could detonate when user requires. Maybe a time limit before it explodes, so users don't just leave them.

4. Cloaking, even a 15 second cloak would be pretty cool. Could be a 1 use per game kind of thing.

5. Shield degeneration, maybe that could work, basically just lose shield over time. Not sure how much and the %, but it would make the matches more interesting (possibly an option when setting up server?)

6. Deployable turret. When set up, you can't fire. It uses your ammo, so if you have none, the turret doesn't fire. Has 5-8 health. Maybe just fires straight and when scrolling through ammo the turret uses the selected type. Or could auto target (but maybe that would be too cheap big_smile )

7. Why does grapple let go of enemies after a certain amount of time? Maybe you have to right click or hit some button a specified number of times to get the grapple off you.

8. Background music please. A subtle tune would do fine.

Leech Heart:

For every 5 damage you deal to opponent you gain one heart. However if you get hit even once you will onle have one heart left even if you have way more than that previously.

Well... I support flamethrower, baseball bat and land mines ideas (1 addition: mines must detonate by itself after some time). One more idea:

Chiller - a flamethrower modification, which emits stream of liquid nitrogen smile. Armor piercing too, and slow down effect instead of inceneration. Damage and range are same as flamethrower's.
