I need Help

I got a source of a cool LVL mod i programmed with a friend. And now, i dont know how i can run a server with it.

Is it possible, when I buy a v/root server, that i can run the src in the root server? btw. Sry for my bad english xD

And if it is possible to run a server anyway pls contact me and help me with it.
