To download a map, you have to join a server. If you don't have the map, you'll download it automaticly. Then once the downloading is done, you'll automaticly start playing it. Maybe you meant something else?

The article you are explaining is really good to see. The answer of your question is that you need to go inside the game then you will go to the map option and from there you will able to download the map.
