Topic: [Maps] by Alpha B (Openfng)

Hello everyone, i'm Alpha B.

Maybe some of you know me. I'm a big fan of OpenFNG, so i diceded to making some maps. I creat this topic where i would post all maps made by me or remakes by me.

I hope you enjoy my maps and i'll be happy if you used for your servers smile

Thx guys ! You can check out maps on the following server : BioPi Openfng (185.41.153.169:8304)
But sometimes the server have crash. And it's hosting in France, i'll hope you haven't too mutch lags wink

I'm fan of fng. Since his first step i follow his mapping. His Map are fully better than the fake fng 5 beat we could see on all fng's servers. he really make a work for teeworlds. And sorry that's a friend ;P.

But i ask all dev to go take a look on his work. That's really awesome ^^.

But I agree, I wish there would be some servers hosting his maps, which are actually full with players. sad
Maybe you could ask the F3aR if they would like to host your maps on a server, Alpha B, as they already host the most visited fng server. It would be awesome to see some action on other maps again smile

Maybe we should do something about it ourselves, I am also mapping and I know people who make maps.
We should get the most amazing maps in one (or more) server(s) and let everybody know.

Has anybody an idea where I can make a topic on the forum for this. I can gather the maps and maybe search for a hoster, or try to host them myself.

The problem is however, that, for example, Alpha B's maps are already hosted on a server, but nobody plays on it.
I think this situation will not change as long as there are so little players. So maybe 0.7 will solve this problem for a while, but I don't deny that it could also be helpful to make a thread like you said and let everybody on the forums know about this...

If you could host the server! That would be awesome, only one question, what means BS?


We need people to play on the server, so that it will become known.
So that people will join the server with more maps, instead of the openfng5-beat server when they decide to play FNG.

I will post a thread in the Community News section to notify all the players on the forum.
I will also gather a bucnh of good maps, and maybe I can mail them to you, TheDerero.

If everyone who supports this idea could tell his FNG friends that this server will be up soon!

Isn't there also the possibility to enable freezing enemies for 3 seconds by hammering them? I liked this pretty much. tongue

Also, frozen tees blocking lasers. This server's gonna be good!

I think all of us are from Europe, but there are lots of American, Canadian, Chilean and Brazilian people who play Teeworlds.
So maybe in the future you could setup a server for those people.
