Make sure Teeworlds runs smoothly and ideally get a mouse with good precision (gaming mouse).

Keep practicing to play better. Play on servers with a good ping (below 100, preferably lower). Try to see how better players play. Ready the tutorials available on the forum. Spinning will only be a by-product of your mastery in moving and aiming, don't try to start this way, and most certainly do not increase your mouse  sensitivity beyond common sense, stay comfortable so you can aim and move.

Most of all play on standard game types so you get used to pickups, default gravity and weapon characteristics.

Finally try to be both smart and patient about it, and accept that some people are naturally more talented at some things them others.
