Topic: I cant setup my srv using the new server creator??!!

I cant setup my srv it the black window pops up in a second an then it close again help plz !

Put the server executable in your normal teeworlds folder. The problem why it pops up and disappears again is probably because it complains about the lack of the map dm1.

Or just as likely your router port is not open (portforward.com).

To see the error message run the exe with a .bat and use pause.

If that would be the case, the window wouldn't close immediately.

Give us a log (like broken said). It's not a matter of a port being closed.

Log? is that what i have written in my notebook? And i have found out its about my port there is a problem something about a router i have to open

Open a command line and execute your binaries from there, so we can see the log = what Teeworlds says before crashing.

ERROR: the master server reports that clients can not connect to this server
ERROR: configure your firewall/nat to let through udp on port 8303.

Huh. And that crashes your server? Then I guess you need to open the ports.

Okay, go to portforward.com. Find your modem's brand and model number. Then put that in, find out how to log into your router from your browser, find the port forwarding setting, add an entry to open 8303 UDP for Teeworlds. Also make sure your firewall is off or has an exception.

Thank you all my english isnt that good that i understood it all but i will try open my port and if there is some Scandinavian mod's it would be great if u would try to explain how do it on Danish, Norway, Swedish
