Topic: delay?!

hi duudes,

problem:

when i hit the (for example) the jump key,me tee jumps with an delay about 2 secs later.

can you help me?or am i just stupid?

It sounds like you have some really bad latensy.
Hold TAB and check your ping. Whad does it say?

uh sometimes <400

somtimes >50 ..than it works better.but still not straight after clickin.

(Pherhaps you know this and the problem is something else, but I thought it should be said)

Generally your ping is different too different servers. In the list of servers you get when starting up teewars your ping too the server is displayed in the rightmost column. Make sure too join one with a low number too minimize delay, hopefully too the point where you won´t notice it.

What kind of line to you play on? How much bandwidth do you have?
Unless your on a modem or you or someone else on the same line downloads a lot (torrents), this shouldn't be a problem, but still.

Try to set up an own server on your computer and try to play on that one to see if you still get the delay. If you do, it's most likely some problem with your computer, else it's most likely some problem with your connection... Firewall?
